Waratah

Waratah a town built on tin mining
 
James 'Philosopher' Smith discovered tin @ Mt Bischoff on 1 December 1871
 
The mine soon became the world's richest tin mine

Kenworthy's stamper mill
was operated on slopes of Mt Bischoff by Dudley Kenworthy.
It was recently relocated by volunteers & is restored to working condition
