Next town along the way west is Rosebery, being Sunday not a lot happening in town

Rosebery was named after British Prime minister at the time, Rosebery has been a mining town for over a century & it is the active zinz mine that defines its character today
Zinc lead ore was discovered in 1893, since when mining has made an enormous contribution to Tasmania's economy

Close to town Stitt falls

Rosebery's copper, gold, lead, zinc & silver mines have been the most productive of any on the west coast, with an estimated yield of $8 billion
