First Glimpse of Strahn

Nineteenth century terrace buildings now used as pubs, shops, cafe's & posh B & B's

Very quaint streetscape, opposite the harbour

Cruise capital of the wilderness

Locally owned cruise boat

Morrison family are one of the original "Piners"
that rowed up the Gordon river & cut Huon pine from the virgin forests way up stream

This old sawmill is still working on the waterfront

Old salvaged Huon pine logs

Booked into the golf club for $10 pn
