Pearn's Steam World is run by a volunteer group dedicated to the restoration & preservation of the Pearn family collection
& Tasmania's early agricultural heritage
The collection is considered to be one of the finest ot its type in Southern hemisphere
Pearn's Steam world includes an extensive collection of steam engines, tractors, small stationary engines & other associated farm tools & implements that were used by the Pearn family contracting business
These exhibits have been collected by the Pearn brothers Jack, Verdun & Zenith since the 1950's
