Branxholm

This morning we drove into St Columbus falls just up the road from the Pub in the Paddock. Unfortunately my camera wasn't working so no photos of the falls which were really spectacular

 

Also stopped at the pub in Weldborough & onto Branxholm

Red bridge - part of the history of Tin Dragon - there was a stand off between Chinese miners who had just arrived & were walking to the mine when the local miners refused to let them cross the bridge.
The Chinese miners walked to Launceston & came back with the police & that was the end of that
