Colebrook started out life as a convict probation centre with 800 here at one time.
In 1967 there was a devastating bushfire which wiped out most of the town & all the old convict built buildings
We spent about 2 hours in the History room, looking & chatting to Allen the volunteer who was a wealth of information about the township
