Hellyer Road Distillery

On the 29th January 1999, the very first barrel of whisky was filled right here at the
Hellyers Road distillery.

At that time, the distillery consisted only of the factory & bond store areas

Today our brand new interpretation centre & gift shop & cafe give you an opportunity to see, smell, taste & experience the uniqueness of Australia's largest distillery
Hellyers Road

Bond store
Each barrel has a $10,000 tax placed on it, once it is bottled

American oak casks, previously used to mature Bourbon whisky, are filled with what we can now call the spirit, only after maturing for at least 2 years can the spirit officially be called
Whisky

But like most things, the longer you leave it the better it gets
