Bridport - lovely seaside town

Bridport was a lovely surprise, beautiful river & beaches

This is all that remains of the "Old Pier"

Drove around to Mermaid pool which would have been nice @ high tide

This old rusty fishing trawler is a bit of an eyesore when you drive into town

Huge boat being built, not sure if it's a fishing boat or maybe a barge

Matthew Flinders barge that takes cargo etc to King & Flinders islands

Very low tide

We inquired about staying at the council caravan park, they wanted $30 for a bit of dirt that we could hardly park the van on, as it was so small + $1 for the showers.
Continued further out the coast to a tiny fishing village Tomahawk with loads of beach shacks (40kms east of Bridport)

Next morning we drove back into Bridport
&
look at the difference at high tide, water was crystal clear absolutely MAGIC !!!

Hold onto that hat "Bobo" bit windy!!!
