Adventure Bay - Bruny island

Bruny island is the same size (in land mass) as Singapore --- however here the similarities end as Singapore has a population of some 6 million & here on Bruny, they are fortunate enough to enjoy this amazing place with only around 650 permanent residents
 
Two Tree Point & Resolution creek "Watering Place"  on the charts of Cook & Furneaux.
This site was named Resolution creek by Captain Bligh in 1788 when he visited in the Bounty.


A painting of this area in 1792 by Lieutenant George Tobin shows these trees much as they are today

Bligh museum established in 1954 by late Dr J B Hamilton to display historic maps, documents, paintings & other artifacts relating to the landings at Adventure Bay by famous explorers

The museum was built from 26,000 convict made bricks created at Variety bay (North Bruny) in 1846 were transported to Adventure bay
