Dover

After going to the family BBQ at Ben & Susan's  house (on the side of Mt Wellington) for  Sunday lunch & catching up with the family for one last time before they all head back to Sydney

We headed off south to Dover a quaint seaside village about 2 hour drive through the Huon Valley

On Monday morning we borrowed the bikes from the motel & headed off to explore the town

It's a nice story how Ben & Susan met about 3 years ago.
They both work on the Aurora Australis the supply ship for Antartica,
Ben is seaman & Susan a Marine biologist, who had stayed down at the Antartic several times during the summer, catching & tagging penquins

Ben was getting worried on this return trip as they got stuck in the ice for 2 weeks & he was beginning to think he wouldn't make it home in time for the wedding

LUCK WAS ON HIS SIDE
& he married the lady of his dreams today!!!
